The Winneconne Library will be Closed Tuesday December 24th and Wednesday December 25th for Christmas Eve and Christmas as well as Tuesday December 31st and Wednesday January 1st for the New Year. In addition, the Winneconne Library will be having an in-house staff training day on Monday January 6th. The library will be closed to the public, but patrons can call 920-582-7091 for curbside service.

The library will close in emergency situations when the health or safety of staff and patrons may be at risk. Examples of situations that would warrant emergency closings include inclement weather or serious problems with building maintenance such as no heat or a gas leak.

The decision to close will be a collaborative decision made between the library director and a designated board member, taking into consideration the advice of the Village of Winneconne Public Works Director or other prominent village officials, depending on the situation.

Staff members who were scheduled to work on a day that the library closes for an emergency will be allowed to make up missed time within two weeks after the day of the incident.
