Library Now Offering Browing Appointments in Addition to Curbside Pickup

Library Now Offering Browsing Appointments in addition to Curbside Pickup!

Starting Monday, July 6th, the Winneconne Public Library will allow patrons to make appointments in order to browse for materials, in addition to appointments for computer use, copies, and faxes.

Browsing appointments will be available for twenty-minute sessions for each library patron. We kindly ask that you strictly adhere to this time limit in order to keep the schedule running smoothly for all appointments.

The library will schedule one browsing appointment at a time.

Patrons may bring family members, but the library staff will enforce a ten-person total occupancy, which includes employees.

Parents will be discouraged from bringing small children, as we will not have toys available and all play areas have been temporarily removed. If you do bring your children, please keep them with you at all times.

To access the library’s stacks and/ or computers, we ask that you follow three simple guidelines.

1. Wear a mask.

2. Sanitize your hands upon entering the library, and as needed throughout your visit.

3. Be conscientious of social distancing guidelines as you stroll through the stacks.

For your convenience, masks and hand sanitizer is available at the library’s entrance, and sanitizing stations are available throughout the library.

For your health and safety, library staff will sanitize areas between each patron visit and follow the same guidelines that we ask of patrons.

For the sake of efficiency, please call ahead to schedule your browsing appointment. There will be only one browsing appointment and one computer appointment scheduled at a time, and scheduled appointments will be prioritized over people just dropping by. Please leave a message if you don’t get an answer right away, as staff are likely on another line or helping another patron. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
